Taste Canadian sake where it is made. Located in the centre of Granville Island, Sake & Tapas Central is Artisan SakeMaker’s tasting room and hospitality space, just steps from the sake-making room.
Whether you are new to sake or already know what you like, this is a relaxed place to taste, compare, and discover. Choose from OSAKE flights, sake cocktails, small plates, and snacks designed to show how versatile sake can be with food. At the centre of the room is a custom table filled with 1,000 cups of rice, a reminder of the grain behind every pour.
After your tasting, explore the shop for handcrafted sake, sake kasu products, koji-based condiments, amazake, glassware, gifts, select bottles from CMC Sake + Wine Merchants, and other sake-related products to bring home.
Come in for a flight, stay for a bite, pick up a bottle, or leave with a new way to enjoy sake at your own table.
